Hold on to your hats on this one friends. This is Emma and her darling parents. From our first meeting, Emma has been the nicest little person. She doesn’t fuss hardly at all, super smiley and gets the best hair award. Her parents are totally confident and taking it all in stride. I wish I was like them when I had mine! I got an email from Emma’s mom saying she was interested in a milestone session. Milestone sessions are a series of sessions during the first year of the baby’s life. Actually, it can include a maternity and Fresh 48 sessions too! They opted for the most popular choice which is a newborn session, a sitter session and a first birthday session. Well, we just completed Emma’s first birthday session so it’s bittersweet that her milestone sessions have come to a close. Let’s take a moment to walk through her milestone session. Hold on, I’ve got to grab some tissues.
She was the most darling newborn and I just enjoyed photographing her in her home. Their dog, Mocha, was so curious about her! Okay, on to her sitter session. The sitter session is done when they’re sitting up unassisted. They chose one of my favorite places for this session. I just loved their outfit choices for this session. This location can be a bit dark so they chose the perfect outfits to bright the place up a bit!
Adorable, right? I think thumb suckers are the cutest thing ever! I always photograph it because they won’t always be one and it’s such a sweet thing! Now on to first birthday, hang on I’m gonna need a minute. It’s going by so fast! Why do they have to grow up?! Those whips of hair- just gets my Momma heart every time!
A special thank you to Emma and her amazing parents for allowing me to photograph their lives this year. It’s been an honor and I can’t wait to watch Emma and your sweet family grow in years to come.
