Adorable baby Merritt has the sweetest, super doting older siblings ever! I never get over how fortunate I am to be able to capture these special moments for my clients as they welcome a new baby into their family. The days ahead will be full of change, growth, and magical moments. I am looking forward to seeing this sweet baby again at Merritt’s first year session.

They are only this little for a little while…truer words have never been spoken. Babies grow and change so quickly during that first month that unlike many other things in life, newborn photos do have a limited time frame in which to capture. 

One of the most asked questions I get is when is the best time to have newborn photos taken? 

To have the sleepy, curled up cozy baby images, it is ideal to have your baby’s newborn photos taken within the first fourteen days after birth. Of course, it is possible to still get amazing newborn images after fourteen days (it is really never too late within that first month), but, the earlier the better to capture those beginning days. By booking in for your newborn session early on, you are ensuring that your newborn has a spot on my schedule around your due date.  Also, if you are interested in documenting the major milestones during your baby’s first year, the milestone package might be right for you. Typically, this package would consist of maternity, newborn, sitter (6 months) and one year photos but is customizable to fit your needs.  If you are expecting, let’s talk!
