I have the best job in the world! I am asked to meet new people, who I really enjoy and think we could be friends if they were local, meet them at the beach and take their family beach portraits on the Isle of Palms! I mean, come on! It’s a great job and I love it.

I’d like to you all to meet my new friends from Tennessee.

I know, a beautiful family, right? Their amazing daughter and I share the same first name. That was my first indicator that we were all going to be friends.

She wasn’t really loving me at first. She kept wondering why there was this person just following her around with this big camera. She warmed up. They always do!

This session was done first thing in the morning. The light at this time is always amazing. I love morning sessions at the beach.

The Hansons expressed that they really wanted more candid pictures of them at the beach. They wanted to just capture their family having fun. So we did that, we just played and had the most amazing time.

Oh and mom’s dress? I know you’re all wondering where she got it. I loved it so much I called and asked her where she bought it so I could order one (which is now in my closet, thank you very much). You can find it here.
