Many times in my photography career, I have pinched myself and said, is this really my job? I love meeting new people and when I get to photograph them and have such a great time, I walk away feeling like the luckiest person in the world.
I met the Poe family in downtown Charleston. Their children are almost all grown and they wanted to have a family portrait done before everyone goes their separate ways.
By the end of the session, my cheeks were hurting from smiling and laughing. This family truly loves and enjoys one another. Their happiness was infectious and I felt truly lucky to witness it and capture it for them.
Thank you so much to my new friends, the Poe’s. You all were wonderful to be around!
