The Ward family came all the way from Ohio just to visit the beautiful beaches of Charleston. While they were here they wanted to capture this wonderful moment by having beach portraits taken. I was the lucky photographer they chose to do that.
I had to much fun with this family. We laughed and I loved their sense of humor. They were warm, casual and so friendly! If they lived closer, we’d be friends- for sure.
Alright, some of these need introductions because unless you were there with tears rolling down your face from laughing, you won’t get it.
So, we saw these piers and said we will use them. Then as he stood up on it, we both thought that it was like the Karate Kid and then, of course, the move had to come out. DANIEL-SON! Hilarious.
As we were taking the portraits, we looked down and what do you know a friendly little crab joined us for a bit. He was quite well behaved as we all checked him out.
Okay- wait. Hold the phone on this next one. This is probably one of my favorite ones from the year. Not that I don’t love all my clients sessions, but this one?! I just loved it. These two beauties have been together for about 5 years. We took a few with just the two of them. I told them to kiss, as I had an image in my mind. They looked at me like I was crazy. I said, “trust me.” They did and THIS is the result. I love this one. It just captures their young love for one another. Beautiful!!
So with that, the Wards returned reluctantly to Ohio and I told them that I sincerely hoped our paths crossed again in the very near future.
Thank you Ward family!
