While Scarlette was too young to hire me, it was the Scarlette show. At 8 months, she stole my heart and found herself the center of my focus for many frames. Her family was so welcoming and really funny! I had such a great time photographing them at the beach on Isle of Palms. Here is a sneak peek for this beautiful family. And on to the Scarlette show….

Mills: Sneak Peek | Isle of Palms Beach Photographer

I had such an amazing time at the Isle of Palms last night for the Mills family beach session! They rented the most amazing house on the Wild Dunes Golf Course and it was right on the beach. It was amazing and you KNOW we used both for our backdrops!

I could have posted most of their session because there are so many amazing images. This is just a sneak peek so I tried to narrow it down to a few of my favorites.

Fun Beach Photography Session at the Isle of Palms

This turned out to be one of my favorite sessions. Some of the children were very shy to have their picture taken by a stranger (me). However, that is my special skill. I interact with them, but give them enough space and time to become comfortable. After a short while, the children were interacting with their parents and me. Sometimes they just forgot I was there. So, the images showed them not being shy, it shows the special interaction with the beach, their parents and sometimes even me.

Isle of Palms Beach Photographer | Diane’s Family

Diane decided that one good way to bring all four of her adult children together would be to rent a beautiful house at the beach for the week. It worked as they all spent an amazing week at the Isle of Palms. I was flattered that they chose me to take their family portraits. This was a fun and hilarious group of people. I loved the different personalities and to capture their interaction together.

As a mother of four children, I loved seeing how these four adult siblings interacted. I loved how they were so close, yet lead different lives. It was like seeing my future and I can’t wait!During my sessions, I really try to take the time to get individual portraits of everyone. It’s useful to the clients so they can use them to update social media or just to have for a print.

I told you they were hilarious. Brothers. They never change!

Diane is one very blessed woman. Such an amazing family.

Sloan Family | Isle of Palms Family Photographer
