Broomall Family | Isle of Palms and Kiawah Family Beach Photographer

I am lucky enough to work with some of the nicest families! The Broomall family was one of those families. They were sweet, caring and so much fun! I encourage clients to allow the children to go into the ocean at the end of the session. Those images are priceless. What I didn’t expect, is for the PARENTS to get in as well. The reaction and absolute joy on their children’s faces was worth getting wet. GOTCHA! I loved it!

Dear Sloane- You are one very loved little girl. Your sweet mom told me it would be “the Sloane show”, but I can see what she meant. You capture everyone’s heart. You are smart, loving and so beautiful. Here are a few from your session for your sneak peek. However, you saw a few of these as you looked at the back of my camera after each shot set. Y’all meet Judy. She’s 81 years old this month and amazing! She’s hilarious, loving, and very active. I met her and immediately thought, THIS is my life goal- to be just like Judy! If I’m even remotely close to cool as Judy is when I’m 81, I’ve made it-seriously. Her children flew in from both sides of the U.S. to spend time with her and I can see why. Kiernan Sneak Peek | Charleston Family Photographer

So, what happens when you take a photographer with strong Irish roots to photograph another Irish family?! No, avoid the stereotypes people, we didn’t hit a pub. (Or maybe we did.) I gently lead them to the Hibernian Hall. I mean what did you expect?! Erin Go Bragh!

Okay, enough of that, and on to this amazing family. I have been so lucky to have sessions with families who absolutely adore each other. It shows in each image and I leave the session floating from the love in the air. The Kiernan family was that family. I left smiling feeling like I was looking through a window into a family who after 26 years of marriage and three adult children, still have a thing for each other. I floated home. It was SO romantic. Okay, dad is probably groaning I spoiled his tough Irish front. (It was romantic, y’all). Here is a sneak peek for this hilarious, warm, loving, new friends.

The Ermie Family | Folly and Kiawah Beach Photographer

This is such a beautiful session. From the light to the connection between this family of four! The parents were so incredibly loving and patient. Their love just shined through in every image. I seriously could show you every image I delivered, it is that good. Here are a few of my favorites.
