Mina, what an adorable name for a baby girl! Mina is a type of dedicate art covered enameled items like vases, bowls, etc. It’s typically found in Mina’s mom’s native country of Iran. You can see an example of it from the MET by clicking here. I just love that her name is not only beautiful, but also means something to her heritage.

If you’ve been on this blog long, you know how I love photographing the nursery! Each one is unique and beautiful. I just love Mina’s so much. The colors are soothing and bright! That wallpaper is amazing! I love a good wallpaper in a nursery!

As they were dating and into their marriage, Mina’s parents traveled all over the world. I noticed the incredible picture collage on their stairwell when I got a tour of their incredible home. I wanted to show this off to symbolize where they’ve been and the future in front of them. I really love in-home newborn sessions for this reason. You get to photograph your home as it is when you bring home a new life. In years to come, things will change, but you will always have this captured forever.
